Rose Martini

The Rose Martini, similar to the Rose Lychee Martini, is an elegant and floral cocktail, perfect for those who enjoy the delicate flavors of rose in their drinks. While the Rose and Lychee Martini combines the sweet and floral notes of lychee with rose, a Rose Martini focuses more directly on the rose aspect, often using rose-infused spirits, rose water, or rose syrup to achieve its signature flavor.

Rose Martini Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 1/2 oz Rose-infused gin or vodka: You can infuse vodka or gin with rose petals for a few days or use a commercially available rose-flavored spirit.
  • Dash of Cointreau.
  • Dash of rose water.
  • Edible rose petals or a rosebud for garnish.

Steps:

  • Chill the Martini Glass: Begin by placing your martini glass in the freezer to chill or fill it with ice water for a quick chill while you prepare the drink.
  • Mix the Ingredients: In a mixing glass filled with ice, combine the rose-infused vodka or gin, dry vermouth, and rose syrup or rose water.
  • Stir Well: Use a long mixing spoon to stir the mixture well, about 20-30 seconds, to chill and dilute the drink slightly. Stirring is traditionally recommended for martinis to maintain clarity and texture.
  • Prepare the Glass: If you’ve chilled your glass with ice water, discard the ice and water now.
  • Strain: Strain the cocktail into the chilled martini glass using a cocktail strainer.
  • Garnish: Garnish with an edible rose petal or a small rosebud on the rim of the glass or floating on top of the drink.
  • Serve Immediately: Enjoy your Rose Martini while it’s cold.
