Re-fuel Your Holiday Spirit with an Eggnog Martini
Holiday stress got ya down? Damn, do we know the feeling. So far, Amazon canceled two of our packages, the crotchless pajamas we ordered from domxxx.com got stuck in China, and one of our credit cards spontaneously exploded. It’s time to re-fuel with Yule Fuel.
Yule Fuel Recipe
Ingredients:
- 3 oz Eggnog: grab your favorite non-alcoholic eggnog.
- 1 oz Vanilla vodka: we love our Stoli Vanilla and use it for all sorts of cocktails from espresso martinis to black Russians. Vanilla not your thing? Try it with cinnamon, caramel, or just plain ’ole vodka.
- 1 oz Amaretto: an almond-flavored liqueur that usually sits in the back of the liquor cabinet until it’s time for that Christmas cheer.
Instructions:
- Grab your shaker and some ice.
- Dump in all ingredients.
- Shake it like Uncle Jerry after too many bourbons.
- Be fancy and rim your glasses with cinnamon and sugar.
- Strain it into a martini glass—actually, those are the worst. Just dump it in a cup.
- Be even fancier and sprinkle some nutmeg over the top.
- Feel the Christmas spirit wash over you as you lean back and enjoy.
There’s no bottoms in these PJ’s!
How Did We Find this Yuletide Gem?
The same way you find all the best alcoholic drinks: at a kids party. Yeah, that’s right, at a kids party. Said party was sold to us as an adults fiesta with adult themed gifts for a White Elephant exchange. We walked into this disco expecting a full on swinger extravaganza, instead we got a room full of hundreds of hyper kids screaming for Santa. Worst part? The other guests actually brought thoughtful gifts. I mean, who brings thoughtful gifts to a White Elephant exchange? The middle aged woman who opened our crotchless pajamas did not seem amused. Seriously though, what’s not to like about easy-access PJs delivered from China?
What’s Eggnog?
We don’t know and we don’t care. All we know is, after our third glass of Yule Fuel, all was kosher in our holiday world and we were filled with more Christmas cheer than rowdy elves drinking maple syrup at a reindeer rodeo.
