There were several recipes we sourced to arrive at this version. Some called for pear juice, some for simple syrup and salt rims, and others for cinnamon sticks as garnish. But we like our drinks as simple as possible and kept this version to 3 ingredients.

Notes
Recipe Notes:
Apple Cider Tip: Use fresh, unfiltered apple cider for the best flavor. It adds a rich, autumnal sweetness that pairs beautifully with tequila.
Tequila Selection: While blanco tequila is recommended for its crisp, clean taste, you can use reposado for a warmer, slightly oakier flavor if that's your vibe.
Cointreau Alternatives: If you don’t have Cointreau, Grand Marnier or triple sec works as a substitute. Each brings a slightly different citrus note to the drink.
Rim Option: Want to dress it up? Rim your glass with cinnamon sugar for a sweet, festive twist that complements the apple cider.
Serving Style: Serve it in a rocks glass for a classic presentation, or use a coupe for a more elegant look.
Make It a Batch: Planning for a crowd? Multiply the ingredients and mix them in a pitcher for an easy serve-ahead option.
Add Garnish: A thin slice of apple or a sprig of rosemary makes for a simple, seasonal garnish that’s both decorative and aromatic. Or just throw a lime on top and call it a day.
